Description
UK Companies have had to submit their payroll to HMRC using Real Time Information (RTI) since 2013. For smaller businesses, this can be a pain because they don't necessarily have the time to submit their payroll using various different systems, but there are penalties if submissions are late.
This module will bring all UK Pay As You Earn (PAYE) functionality into your favourite ERP software, making life quicker and simpler.
Here's a brief summary of the HMRC API integration:
- The HMRC Transaction Engine for RTI submissions:
- Full Payment Submission (FPS) - employee payments including statutory (sick, maternity, etc)
- Employer Payment Summary (EPS) - no FPS due, statutory payments received (maternity, etc), CIS
- Earlier Year Update (EYU) - Correct a previous tax year FPS
- NINO Verification Request (NVR) - request or verify a NINO for new employees
- The HMRC Data Provisioning Service for HMRC notifications:
- RTI Notifications
- Generic Notifications
The development will allow you to submit your payroll directly from the Human Resources Payroll module, as well as keep in touch with HMRC's latest messages.
ERPNext is already rated by Gartner as the 3rd best ERP system by user recommendation, this feature will put ERPNext high on the UK business map. We would be thrilled to hear your thoughts!
The feature will be freely available to all our hosted customers.
